The article tells about the events of May 7, 2022, in particular about the shooting by russia of the National Literary-Memorial Museum of Hryhorii Skovoroda and the consequences of these occurrent. The value of the monument culture has to be proved for the Ukrainian. The emphasis is placed on the importance of the national level monument – the museum of Hryhorii Skovoroda, the monuments of truly national importance, where not only material things are preserved, but its history and originality.
