В цій статті розглядається вплив виборчої системи на функціонування демократії. На прикладі мажоритарної та пропорційної виборчої системи, а також їх основних різновидів аналізується відповід ність систем критерію демократичності.
This article examines the influence of the electoral system on the functioning of democracy. On the ex- ample of the majoritarian and proportional electoral system, the adequacy of the criteria for democra tic c riteria is analysed.
