На прикладі трагедокомедії Феофана Прокоповича "Володимир" досліджується питання розвитку традицій барокової драматургії у драмі Тараса Шевченка "Назар Стодоля". Аналізується специфіка шкільної драми українського літературного Бароко, головні її характеристики та особливості їхніх виявів у драматичному творі Кобзаря. Акцентується увага на дотриманні принципу єдності місця, часу, простору. Драма Тараса Шевченка "Назар Стодоля" репрезентує незначну драматичну спадщину автора. Створена на основі синтезу національної барокової традиції та власного бачення митцем цього жанру, вона репрезентує ще одну грань творчості виданого українського письменника. Наголошується, що Тарас Шевченко успадкував і розвинув традиції барокової драматургії згідно з викликами тогочасного життя. Його драматичний твір "Назар Стодоля" представляє собою синтез барокових надбань у контексті романтичного і реалістичного письменства ХІХ ст. Акцентується, що творчість Кобзаря виросла й еволюціонувала, синтезуючи в собі надбання давньоїукраїнської літератури, відповідаючи на виклики нового письменства і представляючи нову авторську модель художнього мислення.
In this article the problem of development of Baroque drama (as example using tragedy and comedy "Volodymyr" of Feofan Proc&opovych) traditions in the creative works, separately drama "Nazar Stodolya", is analysed. It is analysing the specific of school drama of Ukrainian literature Baroque, its general features and representation in the drama of Kobzar. It is underlined &using on the method of one place, time and space. In the drama "Volodymyr" is investigated the problem of the choice - it is not only choice of the Christian religion. It is very important choice between two outlooks - new and old. And it is choice b&etween two ways of the person life and thinking. The drama of Taras Shevchenko represent theatre heritage of writer. It is written in the base of united of national Baroque tradition and personal understanding of author about this genre. It is repres&ent another aspect of the creative works of Taras Shevchenko. He was well educated person of his time. He studied in the Peterburg Academy and represent understanding of styles and vectors of art and literature. His drama work "Nazar Stodolya" repres&ent united of Baroque traditions in the context of romantic and realistic literature of ХІХ century. The structure of the drama is tradition for school drama, that was formed under influence of the European tradition and old Kyivan Rus tradition. The& poem is consist of the five parts. According to Baroque poetic the plot is development and heroes act. Historical facts are interpreted according to "Synopsys". We can observe influence of the traditions of the novels about Volodymyr as a saint. Dra&ma of Taras Shevchenko "Nazar Stodolja" represent evolution of the art thinking of the writer. His talent was demonstrated by using different genres, partly genre of the drama. In general in the genre level in the drama of Taras Shevchenko we observe& the one place, time and space, that adopted to another real conditions. The Baroque problem of the choice is represented in the drama "Nazar Stodolya". It means that Taras Shevchenko demonstrated continuation and development of the traditions of the& idea, theme and genre levels. Taras Shevchenko inherited and development traditions of the Baroque theatre according to modern life, outlook and literature. His drama "Nazar Stodolya" united heritage of the old Ukrainian literature and represent new& author model of the artistic thinking.
