In this article, we present a novel second order numeri- cal method for solving third order boundary value problems using the quartic non polynomial splines. We establish the convergence of the method. We present numerical experiments to demonstrate theefficiency of the method and validity of our second order method, which shows that present method gives better results.
У статтi представлено новий чисельний метод друго- го порядку для розв"язування крайових задач третього порядку з використаннямквартичних неполiномiальних сплайнiв. Вста- новлено збiжнiсть методу й описано обчислювальнi експеримен- ти, що демонструють ефективнiсть та обґрунтованiсть методу.
