Спираючись на багатоманітну політико-правову спадщину відомого давньогрецького мислителя і громадського діяча Платона, вітчизняну та зарубіжну філософську і політологічну літературу, розкрито методологічні та концептуальні підходи вченого до глибокого, творчого осмислення та розв.язання теоретичних і практичних проблем державного устрою та державного управління, показано її значення для вироблення сучасних ефективних моделей і форм державотворення в Україні. За дві з половиною тисячі років, що відділяють нас від життя і плідної творчої діяльності видатного філософа Стародавньої Греції, політична наука та наука державного управління внесли суттєві корективи у платонівську модель держави, проте нагальні питання суспільно-політичного розвитку грецьких держав-полісів, над сутністю і сенсом яких розмірковував Платон, є важливими, насамперед, у теоретикометодологічному та світоглядному сенсі для сучасних дослідників. Під час дослідження використано комплекс логічних методів (аналіз, синтез, індуктивний метод), а також такі загальнонаукові підходи, як історико-генетичний, діалектичний, системно-структурний, біографічний. Здійснено конструктивно-критичний аналіз філософських і політологічних праць Платона, вітчизняної та зарубіжної соціогуманітарної літе&ратури із зазначеної проблеми, розкрито сутність, складові й особливості політичної концепції державного устрою та державного управління, яку сформулював та всебічно обґрунтував давньогрецький мислитель. Переконливо показано її історичну роль, методо&логічне та світоглядне значення для сучасного державотворчого процесу в Україні.
The purpose of this article is, based on the diverse political and legal heritage of the famous ancient Greek thinker and public figure Plato, domestic and foreign phil&osophical and political science literature, to reveal the methodological and conceptual approaches of the scientist to deep, creative understanding and solution of theoretical and practical problems of the state system and public administration and t&o show its significance for the development of modern effective models and forms of state formation in Ukraine. For two and a half thousand years, which separate us from the life and fruitful work of the great philosopher of ancient Greece, political& science and the science of public administration have made significant adjustments to the Platonic model of the state, however, the urgent issues of the socio-political development of the Greek polis-states, the essence and meaning of which Plato po&ndered, are important, first of all, in the theoretical-methodological and ideological sense for modern researchers.
The study used a set of logical methods (analysis, synthesis, inductive method), as well as general scientific approaches such as hi&storicalgenetic, dialectical, systemic-structural, biographical. The article provides a constructive and critical analysis of philosophical and political works of Plato, domestic and foreign socio-humanitarian literature on this issue, reveals the es&sence, components and features of the political concept of state system and public administration, which was formulated and comprehensively substantiated by the ancient Greek thinker. Its historical role, methodological and ideological significance f&or the modern state-building process in Ukraine are convincingly shown.
