Розглянуто питання раціонального природокористування, охорони навколишнього середовища та забезпечення ресурсо-екологічної безпеки нашої країни в контексті наукової діяльності видатного вченого в галузі економіки природокористування академіка НААН України В.М. Трегобчука. Розкрито основні положення та висновки його наукових праць щодо розв"язання вищезазначених проблем, проаналізовано науковий і практичний внесок у вирішення завдань продовольчої безпеки України, а також актуальних питань формування ефективної та цілеспрямованої національної агропромислової політики в нових умовах господарювання. Для нього був властивий системний підхід до питань, які вивчаються, високий теоретичний рівень, глибокий аналіз, практична спрямованість висновків і рекомендацій.

В.М. Трегобчука. Раскрыты основные положения и выводы его научных трудов по решению вышеназванных проблем и проанализированы научный и практический вклад в решение задач продовольственной безопасности Украины, а также актуальных вопросов форми&рования эффективной и целенаправленной национальной агропромышленной политики в новых условиях хозяйствования. Для него был присущ системный подход к вопросам, которые изучаются, высокий теоретический уровень, глубокий анализ, практическая направленн&ость выводов и рекомендаций.
The rational management of nature has remained the global problem of mankind for many years already/ The now views on the nature protection activity as a sphere of economic relations and ecological management have formed& from the viewpoint of the researches of many scientists and experts. Among those who has made invaluable contribution in this fi eld of the economic science one must say about the Academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine D&octor Professor V.M. Tregobchuk. The paper considers the problems of the rational management of the nature, environment protection and ensuring the resource and ecological safety of our country in the context of the research activity. The author has &revealed the main principles and conclusions of the scientist"s research papers concerning the solving of the above mentioned problems, ensuring the state"s provisions safety and analyzed his scientific and practical contribution into the solution of& this task as well as the actual problems of the formation of the effective and purposeful national agroindustrial policy under the new conditions of management. V.M. Tregobchuk was one of the fi rst in our state to begin the investigation of the act&ual economic and ecological aspects of the management of the nature and development of the mankind"s civilization. The results were refl ected in his scientifi c papers. It was characteristic of ham to approach systematically to the studied problems,& high theoretical level, deep analysis and practical expediency of conclusions and recommendations. The aim of this paper is to elucidate the important from the scientifi c and practical point of view theoretical and methodological conclusions of the& scientist as for the rational use of the environment, overcoming the negative consequences of the resource and ecological crisis, especially in the Carpathian region.In the today"s conditions of the economy development it is the problems of the coun&try"s resource, ecological and provisions safety that have acquired the considerable actuality and also, become the object of Doctor V.M. Tregobchuk"s large-scale researches. The important place in the agrarian and economic investigations of Academic&ian V.M. Tregobchuk is taken by the problems of the mechanisms of improving the management of nature, rational and high efficient using all the natural resources varieties.
