Нансі. З"ясовуються перші кроки на науковій ниві. Детально розкривається діяльність молодого вченого по вивченню грибкових захворювань плодових дерев і засобів боротьби з ними.
В статье раскрываются отдельные вехи французского периода биографии И.М. Еремеева. В частности, акцентируется внимание на его обучении в Агрономическом институте при естественном факультете университета в г. Нанси. Выясняются первые шаги на научном поприще. Подробно раскрывается деятельность молодого ученого по изучению грибковых заболеваний плодовых деревьев и средств борьбы с ними.
The article covers some of the milestones of the French period of biography of I. M. Yeremeyev. In particular, it attention is focused on the learning in Agronomic Institute of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Nans. An author analyzed the fi rst steps in the scientifi c fi eld. In detail is revealed the activity of a young scientist on the study of fungal diseases of fruit trees and the means to combat them. he scientist wrote a scientifi c work "Diseases of fruit trees and str&uggle against them" in 1912 in France. This considerable work of a young scientist includes a preface and two sections. In the preface the author seeks to examine the dependence of measures struggle against a development of parasitic fungi and nature& of the same diseases. Ivan Yeremeyev notes that while writing his study he used the edition of horticulture of Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Mycology and Phytopathology, Phytopathological Central Station. In addition, the scientist points to &his own work "Fungal diseases of fruit trees", which was published as a supplement in 1910 by the journal "Prohressive gardening and Horticulture". A scientist takes a thorough analysis of the whole research process, based on the pictures, taken from& the works of A. Bondartsev "Fungal diseases of cultivated plants and measures of their control" and personal, made specifi cally for this work (77 titles in the text). Scientifi c publication by I. M. Yeremeyev was important to promote research on f&ungal diseases of fruit plants, from which could be carry out practical measures to combat various pests of agriculture and parasitic fungi. Outside Ukraine Ivan Yeremeyev began in-depth research in genetics, plant breeding, plant physiology. All thi&s became in the future the basis for development of measures aimed at developing the domestic crop production, including breeding new varieties.
