У статті аналізується роман сучасної французької письменниці Ф. Малле-Жоріс «Лист до себе» і визначаються його основні жанрові патерни. Ознаки жанрів автобіографії, есе та щоденника представлені на різних рівнях роману, домінантними серед яких є ознаки есе.
The article analyzes the novel A Letter to Myself by a modern French writer F. Mallet-Joris and determines its main genre patterns. The genre characteristics of autobiography, essay, and diary are represented on the different levels of the novel, whereas ones of essay are dominant.
