In the beginning of the 21st-century fashion is a significant part of the creative industries and an important contributor to economic development. Based on the fact that clothes are considered as a sign for society, it can be used as a cultural attraction to introduce a region or a country. Fashion tourism provides a visit of fashion places (costume and fashion museums, fashion districts, malls, shops) or events (fashion weeks, catwalks, thematic conferences, seminars, roundtables or workshops). Even staying in hotels labeled as "fashionable" can be called a kind of tourism fashion. So the fashion tourism can be defined as the interaction between companies and people who travel and visit someplace for business or leisure, enjoy, experiment, discover, learn, trade, communicate and consume fashion goods and services.
