Розглянуто особливості відображення дитячої недолі у ліричних та ліро-епічних творах Т. Г. Шевченка. З"ясовано, що поет прагнув відтворити всі види дитячої недолі: беззахисність, бідування сироти та напівсироти, приреченість та безпритульність, зневагу,поневіряння і горе байстрят, деспотизм і навіть ґвалт у родині, зганьблення чужоземцями жінок і дітей, приреченість за часів кріпацтва дітей на голодну смерть, потерпання від батьків-дітовбивць, соціально-психологічної агресії, відчуження, діти - жертвиміжнаціональної, релігійної ворожнечі та станової нерівності. Автор акцентує на трагіко-драматичному світовідчутті знедоленої дитини, готовність її часом зробити екзистенцій ний вибір - звільнитися від повсякденних страждань смертю. Серед зображальних засобів найчастіше використовує ключові слова (плач, сльози), риторичні конструкції, порівняння, епітети (бідне, несповите, заплакане убоге, голе, голодне) та ін. Автора обурює суспільне збайдужіння до долі сиріт та знедолених дітей, він гнівно картає кривдників, виразно виявляючи власну позицію.
The article considers the features of reflection of children"s bitter fate in lyrical and lyric-epic works of T. Shevchenko. It is established that the poet sought to reflect all kinds of childhood misfortun&es: defenselessness, suffering of orphans and halforphans, fatality and homelessness, neglect, wandering and grief of illegitimate children, despotism and even domestic violence, alienation of women and children by strangers, doom at the time of serf&dom of children to starvation, tolerate bullying from murder parents, social and psychological aggression, alienation, children - victims of interethnic, religious hostility and class inequality. The author emphasizes the tragicdramatic worldview of &a disadvantaged child, his willingness to make an existential choice - free himself from everyday suffering by death. The poet most often uses keywords (crying, tears), rhetorical constructions, comparisons, epithets (poor, unspoiled, tearful, wretch&ed, naked, hungry) and others among the depictive means. The author is indignant at the social indifference to the fate of orphans and unfortunate children, he angrily denounces offenders, expressively showing his own position.
