Присвячено лектурі Шевченка, яку розглядаємо і як сукупність прочитаних ним словесних текстів, і як своєрідність поета-читача. Метою є пошук прийомів дослідження і методів узагальнення, у тому числі статистичного, отриманих результатів. Розглянуто такі питання, як деякі конкретно-історичні умови лектури Шевченка, об"єкт і межі її та позакнижкові свідчення про неї, лектура та її периферія, деякі риси своєрідно сті Шевченка як суб"єкта лектури. Виявляючи кількісні характеристики лектури поета, ми звернулися до описів його бібліотеки, до різноманітних утілень прочитаного (алюзій, ремінісценцій, цитат тощо) у його власних писемних текстах. Виявилося, зокрема, що українська література і власні твори суттєво частіше відбилися у листах, російська література у "Щоденнику", а західноєвропейська - у повістях.
The article deals with Shevchenko"s lectura, which is interpreted as the sum of verbal texts reading him and his originality as a reader. A purpose is a search for methods of research and generalization, including statistical. Certain historical conditions of the Shevchenko"s lecture are viewed, the object and its terms, extratextual testimony about it, a lecture and its periphery, some features of Shevchenko"s identity as a subject of the lecture.& Retrieving quantitative descriptions of poet"s lectura, we appealed to descriptions of his library, to various embodiments of what he had read (allusions, reminiscences, quotations, and others like that) in his own texts. It appeared that Ukrainian &literature and own works substantially were more frequently reflected in letters, Russian literature - in "Diary", and Western- European literature - in stories. Subsequent research, in article author"s opinion, should shift a methodological accent f&rom ascertaining of intertextual elements exist to the insight into comparativistics and intertextual aspects of his creation. Researchers need to not only find certain intertexts of source, absorbed by Shevchenko, but also continue a search for yet &unnoticed textual connections on the modern level of study of poet"s lectura. When such analysis will overcome all levels of Shevchenko"s literary legacy, from intent to the poetics, interpretative Shevchenko study will achieve new and reliable mater&ial for supervisions and generalizations. The especially interesting discoveries are expected in parallels between Shevchenko"s works and texts of the world literature, which in soviet literary criticism V. Zhirmunsky designated as "typological ascen&ts", and O. Boron termed "coincidences".Their comprehension can lead to the new supervisions in psychology of verbal creation, research of which significantly weakened after brilliant works of I. Franko and L. Vigotsky. Thus, modern studios above She&vchenko"s lektura will allow to extend a source base for Shevchenko studies in intertextuality, psychology of creation and comparativistics.
