Головна увага зосереджена на питанні формування нової моделі культурної ідентичності у вітчизняному літературному просторі. Вагоме місце в статті належить компаративному аналізу творчості Ф. Ніцше та Л. Українки, як адептів ідеї індивідуалізму.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the philosophical foundations of the Ukrainian literature of the end of XIX – beginning of XX century. The main attention is focused on the question of forming a new model of cultural identity in the Ukrainian literary space. In the framework of this research is carried out a comparative analysis of creativity Friedrich Nietzsche and Lesya Ukrainka. Philosophic heritage of the German thinker for this study is of interest from the point of view of the attempts Friedrich Nietzsche to approve the main idea of modernism – individ&ualism. Respectively, the main objective of this study is analyze how the individualism Nietzsche (the idea of the “superman”) was realized in the works of Ukrainіan writers of the end of XIX – beginning of XX century. Specifically, we will focus on &the figure of Lesya Ukrainka, since she is considered an adept modernist trends in the Ukrainian cultural space. The article also focuses on the fact that the philosophy of the German thinker opened Ukrainian writers of the end of XIX – beginning of &XX century another way of cultural self-determination. But at the same time in the article presented the idea that individualism in Lesya Ukrainka is not suitable option individualism by the Friedrich Nietzsche. The writer perceives only the basic pr&ovisions of Nietzsche’s philosophy: life – a constant struggle Apollonian and Dionysian principles. This study proposes to examine the individualism by Friedrich Nietzsche and creativity by Lesya Ukrainka through the prism of comparisons but not as a& direct influence. What at first sight seems Nietzschean in the work of Lesya Ukrainka in case detailed analysis not finds its confirmation. Overall this study provides a better understanding of the nature of literary processes Ukraine of the end of &XIX – beginning of XX century. Also, it allows us to see that Ukrainian culture of this period did not develop in isolation and was connected with the best of world culture.
