The results of experimental studies of forced planar vibrations of piezoceramic plates in the form of a parallelogram are presented. The main idea of the work is to study the possibility of controlling the spectrum of natural frequencies of plates by changing the form. The technique of the experiment was tested in studying the properties of rectangular plates with different &aspect ratios. The experiments were carried out on plates of SM111 ceramics (modified PZT-4 from STEMiNC). The frequency range of the planar modes was limited to 140 kHz from the top. This ensured the possibility of an effective excitation, sufficient& for analyzing the number of eigenmodes and the shape of oscillations at the edge resonance. The experimental data were compared with the numerical simulation results obtained using the ANSYS package. This made it possible to reliably identify specif&ic forms of oscillations. It is shown that even a slight distortion of the shape of a rectangular plate significantly changes the frequency spectrum of its planar resonance oscillations. Analysis of the plates resonant spectrum allows us to distingui&sh the frequencies of the edge resonance from the complex spectrum.
