Using highly sensitive techniques dilatometer was experimentally investigated the influence of heat treatment on the thermal stability of multicomponent amorphous alloys based on iron and nickel. Annealing temperature was determined empirically based on theoretical positions thermodynamic theory of hightemperature stability of amorphous alloys, according to which there is a temperature range i&n which the difference between the chemical potentials of the phases of the amorphous matrix - frozen crystallization centers is negative. This is performed thermodynamic condition for the possibility of dissolution of frozen crystallization centers.& The results showed that the proposed modes of heat treatment can extend thermal stability intervals of amorphous alloys based on iron and nickel on (20-40) K, due to the dissolution of existing amorphous phase frozen crystallization centers. As a co&mparison parameter properties of amorphous alloys in the initial state and after heat treatment conducted microhardness values were used. It is shown that the microhardness decreases after the heat treatment carried out by (15-21)%, indicating decrea&se in part of crystalline phases in samples. Thus, based on the provisions of the thermodynamic theory of high-temperature stability of amorphous alloys practically implemented purification process of amorphous matrix frozen crystallization centers.
