Recently, models with retrial queues are paid much attention because they have applications in performanc&e analysis of various systems such as call centers, computer networks and telecommunication systems. The models with retrial queues are characterized by the fact that customers that cannot receive service upon arrival enter a virtual orbit and retry &for service again after some random time. The arrival flow from the orbit makes the underlying Markov chain of retrial queues to be no homogeneous. As a result, analysis of the models with retrial queues is much more difficult than that of the corres&ponding queueing models without retrials. The present article is devoted to research the network model with two nodes. The first node operates as the system M /MQ /1/w.r. and the second node operates as the system M / M /1.Besides we assume that cust&omers arrive to our model according a bivariate Poisson input flow This process is characterized by the fact that customers arrive simultaneously. We consider the number of customers in the systems at time t . This stochastic process describes the st&ate of our network model. In present paper the heavy traffic regime of the network model with the bivariate Poisson input flow of customers was investigated. The diffusion approximation for the service process was obtained.
