The aims of this study is to analyze and investigate possible similarities or differences
between the use of discourse as the creation and organization of the segments of a language. The term «discourse» is applied to both spoken and written language, in fact, to any sample of language used for any purpose. Discourse is defi ned as language use in everyday text and talk. It is a dynamic form of social practice, which constructs the social world, individuals and identity.
People use discourse rhetorically in order to accomplish forms of social action in particular
contexts of interaction. Finally, it is concluded that, it will remain one of the contributing
components to understanding of foreign language learning and teaching practices.
