The factors and historical context that have played an important role in the formation and
development of the Quranist movement in Egypt emerged from the 19th century on various parts of the Muslim world are reviewed in this article. In this regard, wespecifi cally dwell on the works and ideas of the most distinguished representatives of the Egyptian Quranists and the similar and distinctive features were studied. The principal differences between the calls for the return to pure Islam and the Qur’anfor the solution of the problems facing the Muslim world since the emergence of the movement in early days of the 19th century and the views of the Egyptian Quranists in the second half of the 20th century were studied.
У наведеній статті розглядаютьсяісторичний контекст і фактори, що зіграли
значну роль у виникненні і розвитку в Єгипті руху кураніййун (з ар.: кораністи), що зародився у різноманітних місцях мусульманського світу з початку ХІХ ст. З цієї точки зору особлива увага приділяється працям і поглядам найбільш визначних єгипетських представників коранізму, аналізуються їхні спільні риси і розбіжності. У статті було проаналізовано принципові відмінності між тими закликами про повернення до чистого ісламу і Корану, що звучали на ранніх ета&пах виникнення руху для вирішення проблем, з якими ісламський світ зіткнувся в ХІХ ст., і наступними поглядами в середовищі кораністів, особливо, кураніййун в Єгипті у другій половині ХХ ст.
