The approaches for light polarization modulation and analysis have such problems as absence of moving parts or high driving voltages. Fig.1 shows nonzero anisotropies of LC transducers during applied voltage changing. It is seen, that beside of main anisotropy (linear birefringece - Д) the retarders have also dependence of difference in transmittance for eigenpolarizations (linear dichroism) versus applied voltage. This fact must to be taken in to account during polarimeters designing".
