This article analyzes the sociological theories of deviant behavior. Sociological explanations of deviant behavior included social and cultural factors on which people believe deviants. The theory of anomie Emile Durkheim emphasizes the role of regulatory uncertainty and disorientation resulting experience of people stop responding to social norms of society.
