Розглядаються питання існування та розвитку демократичних інституцій в Україні доби Київської Русі та у інших слов"янських народів. Проводиться думка, що демократичні традиції були здавна притаманні слов"янським народам та доволі успішно розвивалися в них упродовж усієї доби середньовіччя. Своєрідний вплив ці традиції мали і на пізніші форми суспільної організації українців.
The question of forming and development of democratic institutions in Ukraine of the time of Kievan Rus" as well as of the otherSlavic Folks are analyzed. The author proves an idea that democratic traditions was typical for Slavic peoples from the ancient times and were just successfully developed by them in the time of Middle Ages. Some kind of influence these traditions made on the later forms of social organization of Ukrainians.
