Статья посвящена новым тенденциям развития отношений России и Европейского союза в сфере энергетики, которые становятся все более явными в связи со стремлением последнего сократить объемы топлива, импортируемого из России. Авторы статьи доказывают, что в краткосрочной перспективе отказ ЕС от российских энергоресурсов невозможен, и необходимо разрешение существующих противоречий с одновременной подготовкой к диверсификации импорта и экспорта энергоресурсов ЕС и России соответственно.
The article is devoted to the new trends in the development of the cooperation between Russia and the European Union in energy sector, which are becoming more evident due to the intention of the EU to reduce its imports of Russian fuels. The authors prove that in the short term the European Union has no alternative to Russian hydrocarbons. Along with deepening the EU-Russia cooperation on energy, both sides should prepare the background for diversi?cation of their energy imports and exports.
