На основі аналізу архівних документів і наукових публікацій у дослідженні висвітлено проблему забезпечення українських шкіл підручниками та посібниками в період Гетьманату П. Скоропадського. Визначено рівень розкриття проблеми в науковій історичній літературі, встановлено, що вона ще не стала предметом комплексних наукових досліджень. Досліджено роль Міністерства народної освіти в справі організації видання шкільних підручників і посібників в Українській державі, схарактеризовано діяльність видавничоговідділу. Проаналізовано роботу предметних комісій, завдання яких полягало в тому, щоб допомогти Міністерству народної освіти забезпечити школу підручниками з усіх предметів навчання, схарактеризовано діяльність видавництв у справі книгодрукування.
The article covers the problem of supply of Ukrainian schools with schoolbooks and textbooks during the period of Hetmanat of P. Skoropatsky iaccording to sources, newspapers and different scientific literature. In the article the author determines the levelof problem solution in the scientific historical literature. The role of the Ministry of Education in publishing schoolbooks and textbooks in Ukraine is researched. We characterize the functioning of publishing department. The main tasks of this depa&rtment were gathering materials for textbooks, protection of publishing houses, organizing of the Central bureau of Information. The Central bureau of Information was gathering data about all textbooks, both published and required on the territory of& Ukraine. We analyze the work of expert boards. Their task was to help the Ministry of Education in providing schools with textbooks in different subjects. The functioning of publishing houses in bookprinting is researched.
