The influences of Zn, Cd, Cu, Ag, Au, Fe cyanide complexes on the electrokinetic and transmembrane potentials of cells of Pseudomonas fluorescens strain B-5040 has been studied and the correlation between the values under investigation is found. It is investigated that degree of damage in a membrane by the cyanide complexes depends on the coordinating metal nature and is determined by the biochemical transformation rate.
