In this article, we provide descriptions of the newest trends of American cultural anthropological thought. Review the еvolution of methodological priorities of the leading American anthropologists on the problem of interdisciplinarity and specialization in cultural anthropology in the USA from the end of the 20th to the start of the 21st centuries.
