The article is devoted to the analysis of development of the Article 2 of the Convention of Human Rights and practice of the European Court of Human Rights regarding the interpretation of its general provisions. The author pays special attention to the issue of legal defining of the moment of the beginning of life and extension of the Right for Life onto an unborn child. The author also analyzes the interpretation of the possibility of recognition of the Right for Death within the frameworks of the Right for Life by the European Court of Human Rights.
