The study of the EU budget as a source of problems among the EU member states and the UK, including issues related to implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy, is carried out. Special attention is given to the examination of the problem of Britain"s EU rebate. The main costs of British EU-membership and total contributions of the UK to the EU budget during the budget years 2007-2013 are summarized.
