У статті досліджено кіпрсько-турецькі дастани, зокрема розглянуто окремі тематичні аспекти їх написання. Окрім цього, надаються основні відомості про їхніх авторів - народних співців-ашугів.
The article is devoted to the investigation of Cyprus-Turkishepic narrations called "destans". In particular it considers separate thematic aspects of the writing of destans. There is also given the general information about national singers known as "ashiks" who are the narratours.
