В статті розглядається можливість появи і розвитку нових видів зброї на рубежі століть, виклики і загрози, які можуть виникнути в глобальному інформаційному суспільстві у ХХI столітті. Надається загальна характеристика інформаційно-психологічної зброї.

In the article the probability of invention and development of new types of weapon at the turn of the centuries, challenges and threats which can appear in the global informational society in the ХХI century is considered.
