Розглянуто використання історії в боротьбі за маси з боку комуністичного табору в період "перебудови" в Україні. Показано, як зміни в політиці КПУ відображувалися на трактуванні історичних подій у підконтрольній партії пресі.
The article reveals how the communist camp used history in the struggle for the masses in the perestroika period in Ukraine. The author shows how the changes in the CPU"s policy were reflected on the interpretation of history in periodicals controlled by the party.
