Розглянуто загальні аспекти локальної інтеграції як інструменту глобалізації ринків з визначенням провідної ролі ринку та ринкових механізмів. Проаналізовано еволюційні етапи інтеграційного розвитку Європейського співтовариства. Окреслено основні засадиекономічної свободи, критерії оцінки індексу економічної свободи та місце України у загальному рейтингу. У контексті інтеграційного розвитку національного ринку України розкрито питання визнання України країною з ринковою економікою провідними країнами світу
The article depicts general aspects of the local integration as an instrument of market globalization with the leading role of market and market mechanisms. The article provides the analysis of the evolutional phases of the integrational development of the European Community. It outlines the fundamentals of the economic liberty, describes the evaluation criteria of the economic liberty index and the position of Ukraine in the overall rating. In the context of the integrational development of the national market of Ukraine the issue on granting the country the market economy status is separately regarded.
