Розглянуто проблему залучення пам"яток історії до використання в туризмі, причини необхідності такої роботи. На основі вивчення сучасного стану їх функціонування як туристичних об"єктів, теоретичних та практичних принципів формування експозицій, зазначено основні напрями перетворення пам"яток історії на екскурсійні туристичні об"єкти, що здатні надати повноцінну інформацію про себе.
The problem of attraction of historical monuments in tourism is considered in the article. There are reasons of the necessity of such a work nowadays. On the basis of studying the modern condition of their functioning as touristic objects, the theoretical and practical principles of exposition making, there are main directions of transformation the historical monuments intotouristic objects, which are able to give the full information about themselves.
