На основі аналізу джерел і спираючись на праці німецьких, російських й українських дослідників висвітлено малодосліджене питання історичних традицій Християнсько-демократичного союзу Німеччини. На концептуальному рівні розглянуто ідейно-політичні основипартії і політичні традиції християнської демократії, політичного католицизму і християнського соціалізму в Німеччині. Значну увагу приділено розробці ґенези Християнсько-демократичного союзу в історичній ретроспективі.
In the article, on the principles of analysis of German historiography, there described bad-researched facts about historical traditions of the Christian-democratic union in Germany. On the conceptual level there observed ideologically-political basis of the party and political traditions of Christian democracy, political Catholicism and Christian socialism in Germany. Great attention is given to the development of genesis of the Christian-democratic union from the retrospective point of view.
