Визначено основні перспективи розвитку транспортної системи України, пов"язані з розширенням Європейського Союзу. Проаналізовано транзитний потенціал України та рівень його використання на сучасному етапі, ступінь відповідності міжнародних транспортних послуг, що надаються вітчизняними операторами, до стандартів та норм ЄС. Запропоновано шляхи покращання міжнародних перевезень товарів територією України до (або з) країн Європейського Союзу.
The purpose of this article is to analyze all main perspectives for the Ukrainian transport system connected with the broadening of the European Union. In this context the attention is focused on the describing of main substantial characteristics of the Ukrainian transit potential and how it is used nowadays. Hence the suggestions according to the improvement of the international carriage of goods through the territory of our state to or from the European Union countries are presented.
