The spatial dynamic problem of the elasticity theory for a layer is considered. A normal load influences at the upper face of the layer. The lower edge of the layer can be both fixed with a rigid base, and be in an ideal contact with it. The method of solution is based on the construction of matrices-influence (the term is prop&osed in the works of G.Ya. Popov), which provides an opportunity to construct the solution of the original problem in the form of solutions of two corresponding plane and one anti-plane problems by establishing a connection between the matrices influ&ences that describe the stated problem. Solutions of plane problems are constructed by methods of integral transformations, which reduce in a transformation space to the solution of a one-dimensional boundary value problem. It is reformulated in term&s of the vector boundary value problem. The last one is solved exactly with the help of the apparatus of the matrix differential calculus. The inverse transformation of the resulting solution and its substitution into matrices of influence complete t&he construction of the exact solution.
